Welcome to another week in Mr Joe's class.
English:
We are finishing up our Planet information books for class. Students will be reading Space Jump and doing the activity pages for Homework this week. Spelling word list will be announced tomorrow.
I want to thank all of the students and parents for their hard work on the student's Planet project and oral presentation. I am compiling a video to share with you on this site. There were a few boys that brought nothing to class on Thursday, and your grade will be lowered for not being responsible.

Math:
We are continuing learning about fractions Last week we spent a lot of time learning how to show a fraction and tell what it is. This week we will be comparing fractions to see which is larger and smaller. We will also be learning how to add fractions with like denominators.
Science:
We will be doing some experiments in the science lab that have to do with Erosion. Students will be able to explain how waves, wind, and water reshape the Earth.
